As we look ahead to an exciting 2026, my heart is filled with gratitude. Thanks to visitors, volunteers, sponsors, and advocates like you, our shared dream is becoming a reality: a world-class science and technology center where learners of every age can explore, experiment, and discover.
This year represents a major milestone for us. We are preparing to launch Phase II of our expansion, which will introduce new exhibits, interactive labs, and hands-on learning experiences to our community. With growth comes greater responsibility – and greater operating needs.
Today, it costs $5,000 each month to keep the Discovery Center open with a volunteer-driven staff. These essential expenses cover rent, utilities, exhibit maintenance, and materials that make hands-on STEM learning possible. As we enter Phase II, our vision expands: longer hours, more programming, and a place where every curious mind can find inspiration.
To help us continue – and grow – we are launching our first-ever Annual Appeal, with a goal of $60,000.
