Register Now for the 8th Annual APG Junior Solar Spring (JSS) Competition
WHAT IN THE WORLD IS JSS? Teams of 2-3 students design, build & race solar electric cars. Teams MUST follow the JSS Competition Regulations found in the JSS Event Guidelines on website.
- Teams Evaluated On:
- Portfolio (notebook of documentation materials)
- Display (ONLY includes the solar car on a decorated shoebox)
- Solar Car Artisanship and Engineering
- Race Performance
All students, coaches and volunteers MUST register to participate.
The winning team receives a paid entry to the 2024 National TSA competition in Orlando, Florida, June 26th to 30th, 2024!

On weekends, our decision will be based on ensuring the safety of both personnel and visitors. Any delays or closures due to inclement weather will be promptly communicated and posted on our website’s event calendar and social media platforms. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in prioritizing safety during adverse weather conditions.
