APG Memorial Commemoration on April 27
In honor of Workers Memorial Day, the annual commemoration of the APG’s Worker Memorial will be held in Aberdeen’s Festival Park. The memorial, erected and dedicated in 2017, honors the Department of Defense Civilians, Military Service Members, and Support Contractors who lost their lives in the performance of their duties at Aberdeen Proving Ground and Edgewood Arsenal.
We welcome family members, friends, colleagues and our community as we pay tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our Nation here on the home front. Please join Mayor Patrick McGrady, Secretary of the Maryland Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation Kelly M. Schulz, Major General Randy S. Taylor and others as we offer our honor and respect.
When: Friday, April 27, 2 p.m.- 3 p.m.
Where: Festival Park in Aberdeen, 60 N. Parke St.
