Make a great first impression and help visitors navigate the science center. Visitor Experience Guides are stationed at our Info Desk greeting visitors and providing answers to questions about the Discovery Center at Water’s Edge, as well as other pertinent information. Visitor Experience Guides should be approachable, friendly, and have excellent communication and customer service skills.

Visitor Experience Guides can expect to complete a minimum number of hours each month to be determined.

Discovery Center Science Engagement Guides present hands-on activities at stations throughout the science center and enhance visitor interaction with our exhibits. Science Engagement Guides should have good communication and interpersonal skills, a desire to learn, and a willingness to work with visitors of all ages.

Science Engagement Guides can expect to complete a minimum number of hours each month to be determined.

Heritage Guides present hands-on activities and historical data on various exhibits at stations throughout the science center and enhance visitor interaction with our exhibits. Heritage Guides should have good communication and interpersonal skills, a desire to learn, and a willingness to work with visitors of all ages.

Heritage Guides can expect to complete a minimum number of hours each month to be determined.
