Mark Ey is a 1986 graduate of the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy and a 2002 graduate of the Glaxo Smith Klein Executive Management Program for Pharmacy Leaders at the Wharton Business School. Mark has spent the last thirty-eight years in retail pharmacy management and is currently the Chief Operating Officer of the National Community Pharmacist Association representing 21,000 community pharmacies. Mark has served on a number of pharmacy organization committees and workgroups including the National Community Pharmacy Association, The National Chain Drug Association, The Pharmacy Quality Alliance, Maryland Pharmacist’s Association, Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene Professional Volunteer Corps, the Notre Dame of Maryland University School of Pharmacy Deans Advisory Board, The National Pharmacy Technician Stakeholder Advisory Group and National Pharmacy Technician Standards Writing Group. He lectures and is a preceptor at both the University of Maryland and Notre Dame of Maryland University Schools of Pharmacy.
