Rob Lieb is currently a member of the Bord of Directors of the Discovery Center at Water’s Edge, a retired Research Physicist from the Army Research Laboratory, a former professor of physics at two four-year colleges and has always worked to instill and keep alive the wonder of science.  For over four decades he has visited classrooms to demonstrate that students can appreciate the wonders of nature and understand physical principles. He has mentored seniors at the Harford County Science and Math Academy for over a decade, and is a founding member of the Senior Science Society whose motto is: “Ignite the Spark of Science”.  He is dedicated to spreading the good news about science and promoting the need to keep technology in the forefront of each person’s life.

Dr. Lieb holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Physics from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, and a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
