Technical Talk Tuesdays (TTT) will be a series of free quarterly talks sponsored by the Discovery Center at Waters Edge (DCWE) and the Northeastern Maryland Technical Council (NMTC). The purpose is to engage members of the community, especially our youth and provide relevant and informative science and technology topics of interest today.
The talks are planned to introduce new cutting edge technology (iDisrupter Series) such as Artificial Intelligence, Advanced 3D printing and Quantum Computing. Talks are also planned on the history and evolution of technology (Science series) such as the beginning and evolution of computing, the development of the early networks and how it evolved to the internet today. The goal is to develop interest in science and technology, especially to help ignite the spark of science in our youth, and to help create the STEM workforce of the future.
TTT presentations will be held at the DCWE and will be followed by questions, discussion and demonstrations if applicable. Light snacks and drinks will be provided. Additionally the DCWE exhibits will be open, free of charge, for an hour after the talk for all attendees.
This is a FREE series in collaboration with NMTC.
