Miles for Magic Contest Rules and Eligibility

Overview

The Miles for Magic contest celebrates attendees who travel from near and far to experience the Magic of Science Fair & Family Festival. One winner will be selected based on the farthest valid U.S. zip code submitted through our official online registration form.

How to Enter

• • Complete the official registration form at: https://form.jotform.com/250825358577165
  • Include your current U.S. zip code when prompted
  • One entry per household
  • Entries must be submitted by 3:00 PM ET on Saturday, May 17, 2025

Eligibility

• • Open to legal residents of the United States
  • Participants must be 18 years or older or have a parent/guardian submit the entry on their behalf
  • No purchase or donation is necessary to enter or win
  • Employees of Discovery Center at Water’s Edge and immediate family members are not eligible

Winner Selection

• • The winner will be the entry with the farthest valid U.S. zip code from TUNE (510 Thomas Run Road, Bel Air, MD 21015), as determined by driving distance using publicly available mapping tools
  • In the event of a tie, a random drawing will be held among tied entries
  • Winner will be notified by May 19, 2025, via the contact information provided in the registration form

Prize

• • One “Taste of Maryland” prize package provided by Box Hill Pizzeria, which includes Box Hill Pizzeria & Crab Cakes mouthwatering 8oz. crab cakes and our all-time favorite Maryland crab soup.  Box Hill Pizzeria and Crab Cakes proudly donates a delectable 4-pack of our signature 8oz. jumbo lump crab cakes, crafted from the finest quality crab meat and seasoned to perfection. Paired with this treat is a generous portion of our authentic Maryland crab soup, brimming with rich, hearty flavors.
