Introduction to 3D Printing and CAD
In this half-day class, participants (middle school age and up) will get a hands-on overview of 3D printing, from design to final product. Our knowledgeable instructors will guide you through the basics of Computer-Aided Design (CAD), show you how to slice simple shapes like cubes or other beginner models, and demonstrate how to download printable designs from two popular online sources. By the end of the session, you’ll have printed a small item to take home and gained the foundational skills you need to start your 3D printing journey.
Families, adults, and students are all welcome—no prior experience required!
